Discover the rich and traditional flavours of Persia at Christchurch's Persian Charcoal Kitchen. Open for short and sweet lunch and dinner, this eatery located right across from Cambridge Terrace provides a haven for those who love traditional charcoal kebabs.

Offering a tantalising kebab-centric menu, each dish is prepared using the finest ingredients over a traditional charcoal grill, giving Persian Charcoal Kitchen its name. Mouthwatering kebabs such as the Teeka or Chicken are marinated to perfection and cooked to create irresistibly smoky, aromatic treats. Freshly baked naan bread is served alongside, making it fun and easy for guests to DIY their own kebab combos for a truly personalised meal.

For a more substantial meal, point your fork towards the Kebabs on the Rice menu. Persian Charcoal Kitchen showcases two mouthwatering options in the form of Qabuli and Zereshk Palaw. The Qabuli is an aromatic mountain of rice, jewelled with sultanas and carrots, while the exotic Zereshk boasts bright and juicy barberries as a garnish. We're not surprised these two favourites receive glowing praise from locals and critics alike!

Persian Charcoal Kitchen is perfect for a casual catch up with family or friends. Just be sure to tell them that this dining experience is all about the kebabs!
