The Ballarat

Queenstown's original gastropub, The Ballarat prides themselves on their relaxed and fun dining experiences. Located in the heart of Queenstown’s Mall, The Ballarat has been described “as like stepping into another world”.

Designed by award-winning designer Tom Skyring and inspired by an 1850’s trading emporium, The Ballarat, as it's known by locals, is something truly unique embracing the colour of old-world Queenstown.

The menu is all about premium burgers – expect great ingredients cooked well! And of course, there are other pub classics including blue cod, rib eye steak and trusty mac and cheese. Wash em down with a wide variety of delicious ales and wines – many are locally sourced and will set you up for a night to remember.
