Tanoshi Cow Lane is one of Queenstown’s best-loved Japanese dining experiences.

Situated in a laneway reminiscent of Osaka’s back streets, the setting evokes a tucked-away urban charm that complements the food.

Open for lunch and dinner, Tanoshi tempts with a menu of tapas-style Japanese favourites. Dishes range from steaming bowls of ramen and flavour-packed donburi to sizzling plates from the teppan grill and the irresistible savoury crunch of okonomiyaki.

Tanoshi also offers a great selection of Japanese sake and whiskies, with Japanese lagers on tap to keep the good times flowing - a fitting toast to one of Queenstown’s favourite dining spots!
