The Sundeck

As the sun sets on NZ's adventure capital, the sun rises on Sundeck preparing itself for another unforgettable night. Armed with fire pits, DJ's cruising on the turntables and views from up top, there's simply no other place you'd rather be.

A rooftop bar with a difference, Sundeck is where you'll find all the skiers, snowboarders, hikers and bikers supping a cold one after a day out on the slopes. Take in Queenstown's magnificent scenery from up high and take the weight off on any of their comfy sofas that are simply made for lounging. As the sun disappears behind The Remarkables, The Sundeck lights up with dozens of fairy lights, the crowd gets ever merrier and some of the hottest DJs step up to the decks to mix some fresh beats that might have you out beyond your bedtime.

After a day out and about, all you want is some comforting nosh. Luckily, Sundeck just read your mind. The menu is brimming with moreish flavours, from Moroccan chicken pinchos to creamy mushroom gratin, lamb kofta and even a three-cheese fondue which is an absolute post-ski must-have. We're living the Swiss dream over here! You could also opt for an antipasto platter or cheese plate, both of which go superbly well with an ice-cold craftie.

And beer isn't all they do. Known for their playful cocktails, they're keeping it real with the spritely I Am Kiwi, tropical Sweet E-scape and the pinker than pink Pink Wednesdays. We'll see you out on deck!
