Featuring sophisticated yet playful pastel furnishings, lush indoor plants and a generous dash of whimsy, Gin Gin lights up Christchurch’s colourful New Regent Street.

The art-deco-inspired interiors create a sense of old-world charm at the venue, adding to the relaxed and friendly, yet uber-cool atmosphere.

The food philosophy at Gin Gin centres on highlighting ‘local’ and ‘sustainable’ ingredients. The daily catch is supplied by Gravity Fishing, who are pioneers of sustainable fishing in Southland, and the produce comes from Cultivate Christchurch, located a stone’s throw away from Gin Gin’s door.

More than just a dining experience, the restaurant and bar has established itself as a destination offering exquisite food and drinks, and an atmosphere like no other.

Outside seating is perfect for the upcoming long, warm evenings and the unique location on eclectic New Regent Street makes for a very special dining experience.

The drinks menu exceeds the expectations you’d have of any good cocktail lounge. Featuring over 100 varieties of gin, a fantastic selection of New Zealand beer and wines, and a cocktail list with just the right amount of bespoke martinis, Gin Gin is the sort of venue you visit once and it becomes your new local.
