The Glen Bar & Eatery

The Glen Bar & Eatery (formerly Meadow Glendowie) is a breath of fresh air amidst the hustle and bustle of the big city.

It takes on the form of a classic Kiwi bar and eatery. By that we mean it creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere with an open-plan, relaxed interior that allows everyone to come as they are, have a yarn with beloved pals and hunkers down with some unpretentious, homecooked comfort eats.

Dinner consists of New Zealand classics and pizzas. Let's start with the pizzas where you'll find all your classics like spinach & mushroom, chorizo and prosciutto, as well as more daring options like pulled lamb with Neapolitan sauce, mint and mozzarella. And on Sunday - the traditional Sunday Roast! Which slice tickles your fancy?

If none of them does, fear not. The mains are serving up crowd-pleasers like roast pork belly with a refreshing fennel rocket salad, lamb shank with baby potatoes and seasonal veggies and a signature curry that always delivers on the spice front. And let's not neglect the burgers! With wagyu beef patties topped with creamy Swiss cheese and crispy chicken paired with brie and avo, The Glen has something for everyone!

The Glen Bar and Eatery also has an extensive bar, with Peroni on tap and when significant sporting events are on, they are played on the big screen.
