Grab a cold one and head out to the sun-drenched balcony overlooking the bay with views of Rangitoto Island and the Hauraki Gulf. Or sit inside amongst the quirky, traditional décor straight from Belgium and take advantage of the weekly live music.

With a menu offering both authentic Belgian cuisine and Kiwi favourites, there’s something for everyone here. You can’t go wrong with one of the house favourites, like the flavourful chicken wings, pulled pork burger or sticky baby back ribs. Or if a taste of the sea is more your thing, try a steaming pot of local Mission Bay mussels or sample a bit of everything with the seafood platter featuring oysters, mussels, salmon, calamari and prawns – it doesn’t get much fresher than this.
