Located in one of Wellington's quieter boroughs, The Borough welcomes all into their spacious pub and energetic beer garden for lunch and supper. Inside, it's exactly as informal and friendly as you can imagine with a whole range of dining options to try out. Outside, however, is exactly where you want to be for the summer months; it's full of personality thanks to the groovy graffiti that's counteracted by all the preened beauty of an English country garden.

The menu is packed with pub goodies that will definitely put a smile on your face. For lunch, enjoy those breakfast vibes a little longer with a full Borough or veggie breakfast. Alternatively, you could opt for a pasta carbonara, burger or pizza and then follow it with a stack of waffles; we call that the best of both worlds.

In the evening, you'll find many of the same dishes as well as magnificent sirloin and wagyu steaks, curry of the day, racks of sticky ribs and slow braised pork belly that's not wanting on the flavour and texture front. Finally, you've got to round it all off with a sticky toffee pudding or build your own ice cream sundae in recognition of your favourite new find in Wellington.
