Garden to Gourmet Cafe

Highly professional and magnificently conscientious, Garden to Gourmet is a Hamilton eatery for all food lovers. A two-minute walk from Waikato University makes this instantly recognisable and therefore easy to meet those with lunch breaks or knackered after a long day's work. However, it's more of an oasis than a one-stop shop; Inclusive dining with fabulous plant-based offerings is the name of the game here.

While their offerings are a massive cocktail (or garden smoothie for those feeling fruity) of cuisines, all encompass the notion of inclusivity. Fresh, flavourful and seasonal are the buzzwords of this menu, with all ingredients sourced locally where possible.

Specialising in vibrant bowls bursting with goodness, the selection spans across the globe, flaunting staples such as “Japanese Katsu Curry” made with crispy chik'n katsu and our second favourite dish from across the globe, mouth-watering BBQ jackfruit banh mi. For those with less adventurous taste buds, Garden to Gourmet's long list of burgers, burritos and pasta dishes are bound to hit the spot.

The cherry on the (vegan!) cake at Garden to Gourmet, and the real reason they've got Becca salivating is the inclusion of rainbow cakes, banoffee pies and Snickers cheesecakes.

Though some may think being too conscientious is a catch, there's only one for this place: they're buzzy, FRESH and will make your mouth water - who would've thought that.
