The soft, ambient red lighting and traditional Thai décor transport diners at Original Thai Restaurant from the chilly streets of Hamilton to somewhere more temperate, where food is crafted with expert precision and every bite is fuel for the soul.

Begin your romance with traditional Thai flavours through their starters. Dive headfirst into BBQ chicken covered in a rich blanket of peanut sauce, or savour minced chicken lovingly wrapped in spring roll pastry and served with plum sauce.

As you move deeper into the meal, explore Thailand’s bubbling cauldrons to test how well you can handle the heat. There’s no better place to start than with the iconic tom yum dishes: spicy and sour soup with your choice of prawn, chicken, or vegetarian toppings.

Discover the wok skills of Original Thai with dishes like their signature pad Thai, where prawns, chicken, pork, beef, or vegetarian fillings burst onto the plate, accompanied by a spicy cauldron of noodles. And don’t miss the gaeng curry, a knockout red curry, tailored with your choice of protein.
