dinner

Perfect for zipping in and out if you're in a hurry, or for elongated suppers alongside a much-needed yarn, Zippy Central Cafe is the answer to your foodie needs, whatever the vibe, in Rotorua.

Zippy is as chilled as they come. Made up of American diner-style booths and lowkey bistro tables, relax just the way you would at home. And that ain't hard here; indeed, their walls that are decorated with small framed pictures, the mismatched furniture and the anything-goes approach to dining make one feel right at home within minutes.

They also know exactly what kind of food you're after. Specialising in comfort food that suits all occasions, they're keeping things really down-to-earth with an awesome range of burgers that include beef patties, sirloin steak, panko crumbed chicken, battered fish and vegan patties. Go ahead and pair it with some cheesy, French or kumara fries, or go one step further with some chicken wings ready to dip into Zippy's signature sauce.

If you're not in the mood for a messy burger, no worries. You've got a wealth of other dishes to choose from that include NZ lamb shank, crispy-skinned pork belly, daily penne, tacos and nachos. Zippy really is zipping over the whole globe and taking us on a delicious road trip whilst they're at it. No complaints here!
