Located on the most famous dining strip in Rotorua, Eat Street, SOBAR Surf & Turf sits right in the heart of the city’s vibrant food scene. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and quality-driven menu, SOBAR delivers a true surf and turf experience, combining premium cuts of meat with the freshest locally sourced seafood.

At the core of SOBAR Surf & Turf is a menu built for those who love bold, hearty flavours. Indulge in perfectly cooked steaks and tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs, alongside a standout selection from the ocean including salmon, tuna, prawns, and scallops. Each dish is crafted to highlight natural flavours, generous portions, and consistent quality. Our burgers are equally impressive—packed with flavour, made using quality ingredients, and served in hearty portions that make them some of the best you’ll ever have.

Beyond the food, SOBAR offers more than just a meal—it’s an experience. With live music every Thursday and top DJs every Friday and Saturday, the venue transitions effortlessly from a relaxed dining space into one of Rotorua’s liveliest spots. We bring you the best DJs in town—hands down—creating an electric atmosphere that keeps the energy going all night.

Complement your meal with our extensive drink selection, featuring handcrafted cocktails, tap beers, craft brews, and locally sourced, award-winning New Zealand wines. Whether you’re here for a satisfying surf and turf feast, drinks with friends, or a full night out, SOBAR Surf & Turf offers the perfect mix of flavour, quality, and entertainment right on Eat Street.
