dinner

Blue Kanu is where the zest of Asia mingles effortlessly with the charm of the Pacific. It's a feast for the senses that begins the moment you walk through the door.

Inside, you'll find an oasis of tranquillity that pays homage to its Polynesian roots, with contemporary touches that speak to the Asian influence. The decor is a soulful blend of warm woods and vibrant details, creating a serene yet playful dining space that's perfect for sharing stories and bites with friends or family.

"Sharing is Caring" at Blue Kanu, and their menu is designed to prove just that. Kick off the afternoon with market fresh oysters, served with either a zingy pineapple & chilli granita or wrapped in a light tempura with nori & yuzu. Or, dive into the shiitake mushroom & kimchi manuka smoked tofu roll, where East meets West with a dab of chipotle mayo. The golden tempura prawns beckon with their spring onion and sriracha aioli, while the crispy pork ribs, with their sticky sauce and furikake crust, promise a finger-licking lunchtime adventure.

For those who prefer their food from the sea, the salt and pepper calamari with charred spring onion and Japanese mayo is a must-try, as is the torched Big Glory Bay salmon, adorned with pickled vegetables and wakame, finished with a dash of yuzu for that perfect citrus kiss.

Pair your meal with a selection from their carefully curated beverage list. Whether it's a cocktail infused with the same Asian-Pacific inspiration or a glass of wine from the surrounding regions, Blue Kanu's drinks are the companions your dishes deserve.

As your evening draws to a close, let the taste of the Fijian market fish linger on your tongue and the warmth of Blue Kanu's hospitality stay in your heart, until your next escape from the ordinary beckons. Visit and be whisked away to a place where the flavours of the world meet the spirit of the islands.
