dinner

Bardeaux is located in the heart of Queenstown and is known for its attentive service, cosy atmosphere, epic whiskey collection and offering a small but tasty menu of decadent platters.

Whether you’re searching for an intimate date night setting or a comfortable spot to escape, you’ll feel right at home surrounded by their oak panelling and warmed by an open fire.

The antipasto platter offers up succulent cured meats, chutneys, pickled vegetables, fresh fruits and a full selection of whitestone New Zealand cheeses.

If you are just after cheese, then sample the classic cheese board with a variety of four cheeses served with crackers, fresh fruit and chutneys. The staff will be sure to recommend the perfect drink pairing as well.

The skilled staff will happily make you a cocktail from their extensive menu, but their famous whiskey collection sets them apart from the crowd. As the largest in Queenstown, it’s a must-visit for any whiskey lover and a destination in itself, perfect for long nights of comparing various barrels from across the globe.

If you prefer to sip grape rather than grain, Bardeaux’s wine list showcases and emphasises the best New Zealand wines. Try their selection of Central Otago Pinot Noirs, widely considered the best in New Zealand.
