dinner

A refined and contemporary dining experience has found its home in Motueka with GK Eatery. This local spot offers a welcoming space where casual elegance pairs with intimate charm.

The cuisine is crafted with a keen appreciation for texture and bold flavours, blending French culinary roots with global inspiration and the finest local, seasonal ingredients from Nelson. The menu features a vibrant selection of small plates, such as beef tartare accented with crispy capers and a touch of chilli oil, or flash-grilled squid in a soy and coriander dressing.

For heartier appetites, mains like lamb rump, served medium rare with caponata and chimichurri, make a strong impression. Vegetarians are equally well looked after with comforting options like mushroom risotto and a seasonal vegetable pie.

Whether you're starting the weekend or celebrating something special, this upbeat venue sets the tone. Gather around a table, sample a medley of small plates, and let the atmosphere and flavours spark conversation.
