dinner

Sitting directly opposite Nelson’s famous Tahuna Beach on Rocks Road, Sands Brewery Bar and Kitchen brings a breezy coastal energy to Moana. The venue makes the most of the sunniest courtyard in town, offering a laid-back welcome for early evening feasts.

The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with plenty of parking and a space designed for unhurried dining. Sunlight, sea breezes and open-air seating create the perfect backdrop for casual meals.

Evenings favour comfort and crowd-pleasers - crisp-based pizzas, bright salads with southeast Asian or classic Caesar cues, and slow-cooked staples rich in flavour.

The local hero is the beef Wellington, prepared in the style of Gordon Ramsay and served with the ceremony the dish deserves. Close behind comes the ribeye steak, cooked precisely to preference and served with fries and greens.

Families are well looked after, and those with a sweet tooth will find familiar indulgence in nostalgic desserts.

Sun on the face, plates designed to please and easy coastal dining done right invite lingering over each course. Book a spot at Sands Brewery Bar and Kitchen and let the good times sand themselves in!
