Perched on the edge of Māpua Wharf, The Apple Shed Kitchen & Bar offers a dining experience defined by sensational waterfront views, relaxed sophistication and a focus on fresh flavours.

Once a working apple storage shed, this beautifully restored space retains its historic charm. Timber beams, brass pendant lights and sweeping views across the Waimea Inlet set the scene for a truly memorable meal.

By day, sunlight streams through wide bi-fold windows and doors; by evening, the space glows with an inviting warmth that perfectly complements its coastal setting.

The menu celebrates the best of the region, crafted with seasonal ingredients from local growers and producers. Every dish is designed to let simple, honest flavours shine. A thoughtful selection of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options ensures something for every palate.

The Apple Shed is a place to slow down, savour and connect, where each visit feels like a treat.
