Southeast Asian cuisine with a touch of Kiwi magic? Nom nom indeed!

Welcome to NomNom, the friendly chain with four locations scattered across Christchurch. Over in Strowan, they're dialling up the glamour with artful lighting, a seductive bar and a gorgeous gazebo that's a favourite for the first dates, the second dates and the decades-long anniversaries. Intimate, moody and armed with a cake shelf full of goodies, Strowan has it all going on.

Whatever meal you're joining them for, expect plates that suit every occasion. For those avoiding a food coma, their light and nutritious soups are perfect. With the likes of the zingy tom yum, creamy tom khar or any of their noodle salads, this is exquisite taste without the sluggish feeling.

For a touch of decadence, nothing beats an authentic Thai curry. From creamy panang to spicy green and exuberant red duck, you really can go wrong. If you’re after some meaty-deliciousness, the massaman lamb shank or Vietnamese pork belly are delicious options. Alternatively, have it from wok to plate with their range of gingery stir-fries, fried noodles and sizzling spectacles. And with that, nom nom!
