Located in Peppers Clearwater Resort, The Lakes Restaurant offers locally sourced ingredients and some of New Zealand's best wine and stunning views. What more could you want?

It's a modern restaurant flooded with natural light, courtesy of its generous windows that overlook the majestic view of the lake with mountains on the horizon. It's a classy spot with plenty of 'wow' factor. And we haven't even got to the food!

Sample some of the finest ingredients for starter, main and dessert. Their starters include a free-range pork belly, marinated calamari and a warm duck rillette from the Canter Valley. For mains, culinary excellence reigns supreme with the Southland lamb rump, Canterbury Angus sirloin and market fish of the day. There's also an artichoke risotto and vegetable gnocchi for the veggies among you.

Now...there's nothing left to do but unwind with a bottle of award-winning wine. It's a tough life.
