Foodies and historians come forth for a delicious feast that heralds one of Canterbury's founding forefathers. Named after Samuel Bealey, this eatery combines a charming sense of history with sumptuous, gourmet pub grub!

Where modern meets traditional, where sports screens mingle with glowing fireplaces and cosy corners sit alongside pristine gardens, The Bealey really does have it all. Whatever meal you decide to join them for, support your team at a front-row seat or curl up next to the hearth - a pint of Guinness or piping cup of coffee in hand - with the promise of comforting plates on their merry way.

Welcome the day with the breakfast of kings. Fuel up good and proper with the Bealey's big breakfast, the oozing breakfast burrito that wraps up a whole load of goodies, or even the apple crumble granola, which can be topped off with a few dollops of vanilla bean yoghurt if you so wish. Alternatively, take a lighter approach with the peach and vanilla crumpets. It almost looks too good to eat! Even the kiddies can get some morning grub here with their own menu.

On to lunch and dinner and we're talking hand-pulled pizzas, enormous sandwiches, perfectly grilled meat and other classic mains that don't hold back. From popcorn shrimp, to Moroccan lamb flatbread, burgers, and the house favourite Steakhouse Pizza, supper at The Bealey is full of surprises. And the fun doesn't stop there. The Winter Pavlova redefines the Christmas favourite with compressed toasted honey, peach, and raspberry mint coulis, whilst the Hazelnut chocolate noire, and Mille-Feuille are as delicious as they say on the tin. Samuel Bealey, you're certainly our favourite lad from the past!
