Tucked away in Christchurch’s industrial heartland lies Scoundrel, a vibrant eatery and bar within a converted warehouse. Recently awarded "Outstanding Ambience and Design" at the Canterbury Hospitality Awards 2024, it's a must -see.

Decked out in rusty steel and beautiful polished wood, this venue features an urban industrial aesthetic that evokes laid-back, warm, inviting lounge bar vibes. Scoundrel is in the vibrant city centre, making it the perfect spot for a post-shopping refuel or relaxing with friends. And best of all, it's also dog-friendly, welcoming four-legged companions with open arms and treats.

Scoundrel Bar and Eatery has created a menu boasting street eats, sharing plates and an array of delightful desserts. Items that are worthy of note include fresh corn tacos, crispy hash bites with vegan queso, mac ‘n’ cheese served with parmesan crumb, an exquisite sticky date pudding with delicious pairings such as caramelised chilli and cumin peanuts.

Scoundrel Bar and Eatery offers luscious cocktails, New Zealand craft beer, and street food under one roof. It is a must-visit for those looking for that elusive trifecta of ambience, food, and drinks.
