In the heart of Christchurch on Cashel Street resides Ramen Ria, Christchurch’s dedicated Japanese ramen and street food joint.

A hidden gem inside Riverside Market, Ramen Ria’s popularity has been sparked by its bowls of ramen, not to mention a range of vibrant Japanese street food – think gyoza, bao and those delicious fried chicken dishes you can never resist.

Keeping in line with the brand’s ethos, all dishes are created with locally sourced ingredients at their core ensuring the freshest and tastiest dishes. Their noodles are made fresh daily, and delicious broths are simmered for over eight hours. Warming bowls of delicious homemade ramen, it is, then!

Their menu boasts a selection of traditional pork and chicken ramen and vegan and vegetarian options to cater to all appetites. And upstairs above Ramen Ria, Ria Bar offers a more laid-back Japanese drinking hole with cool vibes, Japanese beers, shochu, umeshu, tasty cocktails and Sake.
