Spice Mantra brings the warmth of the subcontinent to Belfast, Christchurch, with a menu that celebrates both comfort and spice.

This is a kitchen where tandoor smoke and tomato-rich gravies meet the heady perfume of basmati, with Indo-Chinese accents adding a playful twist. It's a place for cravings and curiosity alike, where familiar favourites sit alongside street-style inspirations.

The cooking leans into balance: crisp vegetable pakora give way to tender chicken tikka - butter chicken is all velvet and tang, while paneer butter masala offers a gentle, buttery embrace. Biryani arrives fragrant and layered, whether studded with chicken or vegetables, and baskets of naan and parathas invite tearing and sharing. Bowls of jeera rice and pulao rice, with bright spoons of mango chutney and tamarind chutney, round out the table in satisfying fashion.

There's indulgence and ease in equal measure. Hakka noodles and veg Manchurian nod to India’s Chinese canon - gulab jamun provides syrupy solace, and a mango lassi cools the palate. With a kids' menu and familiar comforts, the experience suits families and anyone chasing flavour without fuss.

Make an outing of it, follow the aroma, and let Spice Mantra find your happy medium, one spoonful of spice at a time!
