Located within a historic building, The Royal offers a soothing space of wooden tones, urban plants and warm lighting, perfect for a light bite or casual dinner. Their kitchen serves a fantastic array of Kiwi favourites, with a nod to traditional New Zealand recipes and ingredients.

Start the evening with an entrée of fresh oysters or Rewa Rewa buffalo wings, before moving onto a hearty main, like the confit duck with pancetta infused lentils. The lamb rack is a local favourite, served with three-way kumara and cherry jus, but save room for their decadent desserts, such as the melting chocolate fondant!
