Putting an elevated spin on the familiar favourites that make up our family suppers, Roquette Restaurant & Bar is serving only the very best.

Housed in a very approachable terracotta cabin, Roquette recalls some of the most comforting characteristics of the countryside. Inside, they've modelled their decor on a typical family house, creating open and welcoming spaces that aren't so dissimilar to a communal living room. However, they can't resist a touch of elegance, and that's where the pristine white tablecloths, elevated bistro furniture and impeccable table settings that aren't an inch out of place come into play. With that, welcome to Roquette's very stylish home!

Offering lunch and dinner, you can enjoy all the comfort that Roquette has to offer throughout the day. For lunch, the culinary innovation starts with the likes of manuka smoked chicken with a kumara and thyme puree, baked daily fish with a Mediterranean-inspired pesto crust and sides, and Moroccan spiced cauliflower with a hearty pumpkin cake and capsicum coulis. Breathing new life into NZ's local and seasonal produce, Roquette will leave you ever more grateful for NZ's plentiful lands.

As for dinner, they're upping their game with exclusive cuts of meat. From the Savannah scotch fillet to the bacon-wrapped Angus eye fillet and V eye fillet, you'll never taste a leaner and tenderer steak on this side of the Pacific. Add to that some seasonal veggies, a refreshing pear salad or some garlic cheese bread to mop up the meaty jus and you have yourself a supper of the highest order.
