Overlooking Auckland's glittering Prince's Wharf, Y-Not has been serving modern NZ cuisine for ten amazing years. It all boils down to one question; why not?
Its European-style interior is bright, breezy and exudes summer vibes all year round. Think of a French bistro with its signature red and white tablecloths, wicker chairs and romantic feels and you're on the money. And you can just imagine how awesome their patio is. Not only is it right next to the water, but it also accommodates lots of you fun-loving folks which only means a buzzing dining space that's never lacking in atmosphere.
Their menu features pizza, pasta and heaps of meaty mains for you to get your teeth stuck into. But first, why not begin with melt-in-the-mouth beef carpaccio, chilli tiger prawn cullets or their creamy seafood chowder? Then you'll be ready to tackle a mammoth pizza. And their doughy delights certainly don't play by the rules; toppings include peppered beef, satay chicken and tiger prawns. And nothing marks a special occasion like their roasted duck risotto that is gooey, creamy and rich in flavour.
Other mains include classic Kiwi favourites like pork belly, snapper with mash, lamb shank, venison fillet and the British import, fish and chips! And when all the plates are wiped clean, ain't no better way to enjoy the view than with a tropical mango cocktail or a chilli Margarita. Yes, summer really is an all-year thing over here!
