Ol' Mate Pt. Chev brings a dose of no-fuss hospitality to Point Chevalier, Auckland, where barista-made coffee, loaded toasties and freshly made bagels do the talking.

It's a true neighbourhood spot that prizes simple, high-quality food and the sort of service that feels genuinely friendly. Here, everyone's treated like a mate.

That signature Ol' Mate energy runs through everything they do, making it as natural to linger over a cuppa as it is to drop in for a delicious bite. The food's all about comfort with plenty of flavour. Sink your teeth into toasties like the classic cheese and pickle, the spicy Buffalo chicken, or the hearty Bolognese, all served hot and brimming with goodness.

The bagels aren't to be missed either, from the NZ smoked salmon with cream cheese to the crowd-favourite Bee Sting, loaded with scrambled eggs, bacon, spring onion, chilli flakes and a drizzle of hot honey. Pair it all with expertly brewed coffee for the ultimate café experience.

Warm chatter, friendly faces and a laid-back rhythm make it a reliable fixture in Pt Chev. Whether you're stopping in for a morning coffee or a satisfying lunch, Ol' Mate's a place you'll want to return to again and again!
