Satya Chai Lounge Sandringham

Satya Chai Lounge brings a taste of the subcontinent’s southern traditions to Auckland. True to its name, the kitchen looks to coastal and heartland recipes, championing spice, balance, and comfort in equal measure.

Here, expect bright, layered flavours where coconut, tamarind, and mustard seeds mingle with fresh curry leaves, and heat is handled with precision rather than bravado.

Textures play a starring role too - from crisp, delicate street bites to slow-simmered, soothing curries - inviting diners to mix, match, and share at an easy pace.

Inside, the mood is relaxed and welcoming, making it perfect for a casual lunch, an impromptu weekday supper, or a leisurely catch-up. Conversation hums over generous plates, while the gentle perfume of toasted spices sets a warm, lingering tone that feels both homely and celebratory.

Settle in, bring an appetite for discovery, and let Satya Chai Lounge lead you south by the mouthful. Your table awaits - go on, make a meal of it!
