Chilled and homey, this is exactly where you want to be chowing down on your first feed of the day.

So, let's start with the bagels themselves which put all other shop-bought bagels to shame. They have classic plain bagels and ones topped with sesame seeds. Up next are the more experimental ones like jalapeño and cheese, roast garlic and sea salt, and honey oat varieties.

Then you need to choose your filling. Take your pick of double bacon with peri peri cream, egg and jalapeño, or double bacon with peanut butter. Alternatively, you can always tickle your sweet tooth with a peanut butter, banana and cinnamon filling. Wash it down with a silky-smooth flat white and they'll be sure to see you there the next morning too. After all, life always comes full circle...
