In Blockhouse Bay, Auckland, Ricksha celebrates the spirited flavours of Indian street eats and the comfort of classic curries. Its menu roams from crisp, bite-sized snacks to slow-simmered staples, offering a journey through textures, tang and spice.

Begin with pani puri, the crackle of each puri giving way to spiced potatoes and lively chutneys, or opt for vada pav, a soft bun hugging a punchy potato fritter. It's the kind of start that wakes the palate and sets a cheerful tone.

Then settle into palak paneer, spinach lush around tender paneer, or butter chicken simmered in a rich tomato sauce. Roti and paratha are made for tearing and sharing, while a simple cucumber salad brings a clean, cooling lift.

To finish, gulab jamun offers syrupy indulgence, and Kashmiri phirni adds a creamy flourish. Gather your favourites, share generously, and let Ricksha take you on a flavourful spin.
