Nestled in the vibrant enclave of Te Aro, The Arborist Eatery is your new favorite local you wish you heard about sooner. With a fully stocked bar, an outdoor balcony and a menu focused on fresh natural food the Downstairs Eatery is a cosy atmosphere bathed in greenery and floral note infusion throughout the delightful menu.

For the carnivore, the beef burger is adorned with smoked cheese, pickles, caramelised onion and an exquisite burger sauce. Embark on an international escapade with the Korean fried chicken burger, expertly paired with Gochujang chilli, tangy slaw and fiery kimchi mayo.

Vegetarians rejoice, there is absolutely no shortage of plant-based options here. The black bean burger encases kumara, black beans and corn and is complemented by smoked cheese, rocket and capsicum salsa. Global flavours abound with the market fish and chips, steak sandwich and braised lamb shoulder. For a lighter touch, savour a perfectly balanced falafel bowl or crisp Caesar salad.

And don't forget to pair that meal with a drink - The Arborist offers some of the best cocktails in town. A crowd favorite among rum lovers has to be the Liquid Gold - crafted with Caramelized maple washed Sailor Jerry rum, apple juice, lime and pimento vinegar.
