Tucked into Te Aro, Amuse Snack Bar is a restaurant-quality snack bar that neatly bridges European aperitivo habits with Australasian coffee culture. The welcome’s warm and lived-in, as if calling on a favourite relative - the doors open, the air hints at baking, and the counter invites a pause.

The cooking favours refined simplicity and bright, local flavours. A tidy snack plate sets the tone, while sandwiches lean classic yet indulgent. Guests can enjoy a variety of baguettes and sourdoughs or choose to build their own with various house-made spreads and seasonal proteins.

Throughout the evening, the mood turns indulgent for your 'date night'. A generous platter selection of house-made sourdough and crackers with jams, pickles, cheeses and meats boasts an impressive shared meal! Snack orders of olives, Proper Crisps, and whipped cheeses round out the spread. There’s an accompanying menu of light meals featuring a double cheese toastie or a comforting Tuscan soup brimming with summer vegetables. Pop in when the appetite nudges and stay for a second round because at Amuse, a little goes a long way, and a lot is even better!
