Nestled a short stroll from the windswept shores of Petone, Wellington, Smile Elephant Thai Restaurant invites those with a penchant for authentic Thai cuisine.

This culinary haven offers an array of dishes, including delectable appetisers such as chicken satay – grilled, marinated chicken skewers served with satay sauce – and curry puff, a delightful combination of sweet potato, curry, and chicken mince enveloped in flaky pastry.

Their main courses embark on a sensory odyssey, traversing stir-fries, rice and noodles, soups and curries, hot plates, and salads, promising an explosion of flavours drawn from a symphony of meats – lamb, beef, duck, chicken, and an array of seafood.

Smile Elephant prides itself not only on its tantalising flavours but also on the integrity of its ingredients, ensuring that each morsel strikes a harmonious balance between health and indulgence. With a steadfast dedication to catering for diverse dietary needs, the restaurant boasts an extensive repertoire of choices to delight every palate.
