It’s fiesta time at Los Banditos!

Wellington’s hot spot for authentic Mexican cuisine, Los Banditos is the Mexican cantina and tequilaria of your dreams. Enjoy a delicious meal amongst the classic Mexican décor full of bold, colourful pieces - from the traditional Mexican paper flag banners strung from the ceilings to the impressive, bright masterpieces painted on the walls.

With a menu just as bold and exciting as the décor, you’ll have to make some tough decisions. The bocaditos (share plates) are perfect for sharing with mates or family. A favourite is el plato gordo, the famous flaming cheese plus two other bocaditos of the day. The house-made guacamole, signature buttermilk fried chicken, and ceviche tostada with fresh market fish are some other signature dishes that will transport you straight to Mexico. The variety of tacos and quesadillas include options for the meat-lovers, vegetarians, gluten-free and vegans alike. Don’t forget to save room for the handmade churros - this one will be difficult to share with the mates.

And what’s a fiesta without a margarita in hand? Try one of the unique margarita concoctions created by the team, or sip on another cocktail, sangria, wine or beer.

Experience Mexican the Los Banditos way.
