Tucked away in Wellington’s CBD with stunning harbour views, Relish for Food serves up a warm, welcoming vibe that suits everything from early family catch-ups to midday meetings that call for a side of flavour.

Since the 1980s, this beloved café has been winning hearts with dishes made with love in a setting that leaves both stomachs full and spirits lifted. With its unwavering commitment to quality and delicious food, Relish for Food continues to capture the hearts of local food lovers.

Cravings meet their match with artisan waffles – whether stacked sweet with mixed berry compote and mascarpone, or served savoury with tomato, spinach, and halloumi – each bite is a flavour-packed reason to return. The classic eggs benedict is a menu staple, while the gourmet smashed beef burger and Southern fried chicken burger are perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends.

A table at Relish for Food is always a good idea, and it doesn’t take long to see why it’s become one of Wellington’s favourite places to dine, unwind, and savour every bite.
