House on Hood

House on Hood is a Hamilton icon – a historic pub with an easygoing atmosphere on the sunny side of Hood Street. Known for its impressive range of tap beers, creative cocktails, and spacious outdoor deck, it's the perfect place to settle in for a long lunch, after-work drinks, or a night out with friends.

The new menu delivers bold flavours and pub favourites with a modern twist. Tuck into loaded brisket fries, crispy gochujang honey fried chicken, Korean chicken baos, birria brisket tacos, or handmade Ding's dumplings. If you're after something bigger, the smash burgers are a must, while pizzas like the hot honey pepperoni, Buffalo chicken, and loaded Butcher are made to share (or not). There are lighter options too, including a fresh Vietnamese chicken salad and vegan-friendly favourites like bang bang cauliflower bites and the Vegan Katsu burger.

Pair it all with a signature cocktail, local craft beer, or one of the many Good George brews on tap. Then, when Friday and Saturday roll around, stick around after dinner as the DJs take over and House on Hood comes alive late into the night.
