There are moments in life when we are overcome by a sensation of pure, unadulterated joy. At Lykke in Hamilton, the mission is to encapsulate that sensation in every mouthful. The name means happiness in Danish, and that's exactly what you'll find in this cosy spot.

The aesthetic of their venue combines warm wooden interiors of a classic café with pops of greenery and pink floral accents. The stripped-back yet spacious setup creates a café that feels like everyone's home away from home. In short, there's a lot of love and attention poured into every cup of coffee brewed, and into every Danish pastry baked.

Good food and good vibes are at the heart of Lykke, creating the perfect mix of Grey Roasting coffee and Kiwi-Danish food to create a fusion that is truly delicious. Whether you're recapturing childhood with Danish puff pancakes, or looking to refuel at lunchtime with a Danish hotdog and shoestring fries, you'll be met with a nostalgic joy throughout your meal. The sense of community that Lykke represents is felt in every frothy cappuccino and happy chatter with your friends.

Lykke is also a great spot for diners with gluten sensitivities in the city, offering a range of gluten-free dishes. Start your day off well with a delicious smashed avocado with pickled cabbage or a classic Eggs Benedict.

Danish food is traditionally built around sharing, and Lykke can't think of a better way to describe a Kiwi-Danish fusion, where you know you're in the right place if you don't leave a little full.
