Glenda and Chris welcome you to D'Arcy's Garden, a place to enjoy hearty meals with a local twist. The hotel’s central dining, lounge and bar takes its name from Glenda’s Uncle D’Arcy, whose lifelong passion for growing plants organically with his own compost is well known in the Cambridge district. Local life revolves around food, wine and laughter for Uncle D'Arcy. He spent his days keeping the local Invercargill Railway Station's heating fire at just the right temperature. Maintaining the fire was work, of course, but it was his way of making people feel warm and comfortable during the colder months. In the same way, they want you to feel warm and welcome in their scenic lounge, the heart of the hotel. Open early until late to meet, eat and drink.
