Glenda and Chris welcome guests to D’Arcy’s Garden, a place to enjoy hearty meals with a local twist. The hotel’s central dining room, lounge and bar take their name from Glenda’s Uncle D’Arcy, whose lifelong passion for organic gardening – using his own compost – remains well known throughout the Cambridge district.

Uncle D’Arcy once kept the railway fire burning, bringing comfort through the chill. Today, D’Arcy’s Garden reflects that same spirit in a lounge designed for meeting, dining and lingering.

Whether for a working breakfast or dinner with friends, the kitchen is open to all. Relax and savour dishes that showcase regional produce – look out for Waikato cheeses, Waipa wines and seasonal ingredients, carefully prepared and beautifully presented.
