When it comes to Taste Cafe, the name says it all, really. Where flavour and quality ingredients are put above all else, this cafe really delivers when it comes to the pleasure of comforting, familiar food. Under new management and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, enjoy stunning views of the lake and mountain while you are looked after by their friendly staff.

And it's not just the tastebuds they're tickling; when it comes to the overall look and feel of the restaurant, they've got those relaxed and reviving vibes down to a tee. With a heat pump and gas fire, it's a welcome shelter from the cold winter months, and in summer, enjoy their alfresco dining area. Taste Cafe is a winner all year round.

They're winners the whole day through too. Where you can stop by for an early morning feed or wine and dine into the evening, Taste Cafe has a flavour for every time of day. In the morning, creamy avocado, smoked salmon, potato rostis and homemade beef mince are exactly what you might have in mind. If it's something really substantial, how about a stuffed omelette or eggs benny? You can always follow it with a round of French toast if you also crave pudding. Just remember to keep your cool with a mango or banana smoothie!

For supper, have your fill of unpretentious family staples that range from NZ lamb shank with velvety mash, Angus beef striploin with a pepper or mushroom sauce and fries, or get your hands involved with some ultra-sticky BBQ pork rubs that are rubbed in an irresistible honey glaze. Of course, a burger never goes amiss alongside an ice-cold pint, so have yours with premium beef patties, steak or even something vegetarian. When it comes to taste at Taste Cafe, the sky's the limit!
