Inside it’s a low-key spot, with a cosy ambience created by warm red lamps and even warmer service. Snug banquette seating creates an intimate vibe, perfect for some much needed family-time or casual date.

The all-Chinese kitchen team keeps a stream of authentic dishes flowing steadily out of the kitchen. Investigate traditional delicacies such as shaoxing salted chicken, an explosion of satisfying umami notes, yu-xiang shredded pork and plump bao bursting with tasty fillings.

We can’t get enough of the spicy wonton soup, a bowl that’s brimming with Oriental flavours, while vegetarians are well catered for with a selection of interesting plant-based dishes. Tofu and preserved eggs is a hearty must-try.
