The cute heritage cottage has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take a seat by the open fire or dine al fresco on the patio.

Start with tasty crumbed calamari or pork cheek terrine before enjoying perfectly cooked potato gnocchi or succulent sirloin steak with rosemary and thyme potatoes. Other favourites include fish or the day and chicken mignon stuffed with spinach and cream cheese and wrapped in streaky bacon.

Dishes are delicately and beautifully presented. Save room for one of their irresistible desserts (think crème brûlée with sorbet) or sit by the fire with a coffee and one of Kauri Cottage’s popular sweet slices.
