lunch

If blueberries popped into your mind when you read the name Mamaku, you're not wrong. The NZ blueberries that no one can stop talking about, Mamaku is at the forefront of organic nutrition. And now, with a blueberry experience at their farm in Rotorua, you can enjoy what's on offer for breakfast and lunch.

Behind every packet of blueberry powder, delicious blueberry smoothie and freshly baked blueberry muffin is Mamaku. In the middle of Rotorua's surrounding countryside lies their farm that enjoys uninterrupted views over the rolling green farmland and quiet respite from the city. And inside is their homey cafe that's comfy, cosy, and informal, boasting plenty of views over the Rotorua landscapes.

Now, what are the blueberry masters whipping up for breakfast and lunch? Surprisingly, it's not all blue with the traditional full breakfast, classic BLT and toasted sandwiches. If you want to try something a little different, sample their own unique take on familiar favourites. Take the venison and blueberry pie that defies all expectations, the brie sandwich with salad and a generous spread of blueberry chutney, and the blueberry pancakes that are every bit as mouth-watering as they sound.

Still haven't had your fill? There are still blueberry pies and blueberry juices to be demolished and slurped. Aside from all their innate nutritional value, you simply can't get enough of the sweet pop that is so unique to this humble berry.
