Effortlessly cool and modern, The Exchange Cafe is the perfect spot to refuel in the heart of Queenstown. Alternatively, take it alfresco on their vibesy patio that captures the comings and goings in NZ's adventure capital... as well as some epic rays!

For brekkie, they're spicing up old favourites. Granola is all well and good, but have you tried it with berry natural yoghurt, puffed quinoa and seasonal fruits? Didn't think so. And have you tried waffles, with white chocolate mousse, lemon curd, pomegranate and seasonal berries? For a more savoury theme, the Big Breakfast is the Everest of big brekkies, with a potato herb rosti, Zamora pork sausage and house-smoked tomato relish making it the breakfast of Kings.

If you're rocking up later in the day, there'll be an almighty harissa chicken burger on the menu, as well as the crispy pork belly roti. Alternatively, if your body really is a temple, opt for the nutritious cauliflower and tofu salad which lacks nothing in the flavour and texture department.
