The Exchange Bar brings lively energy to Queenstown’s CBD, staking its claim as the town’s newest party venue.

Live music sets the tempo, Sky Sports screens the big moments, and the glow from the open fire adds warmth. A covered outdoor area keeps the social hum going whatever the weather, while a private VIP lounge offers a discreet perch for celebrations or post-adventure catch-ups.

The kitchen leans into comforting pub fare with a Kiwi heartbeat. Nibbles start strong with garlic bread grilled under a cheesy crust and deep-fried camembert with cranberry.

Classics follow with fish and chips and a rib eye of prime New Zealand beef finished with mushroom sauce. Burgers bring the crowd-pleasers, from a towering Kiwi burger to a juicy chicken burger, while the pasta of the day keeps things fresh. Sunday turns indulgent with a lamb roast - complete with roast onion, potato, kumara, pumpkin, peas and mash.

It is the kind of place where a game on the screens meets a soundtrack from the stage, and where generous plates and keen prices fuel easy-going evenings. Stake out a seat by the fire or slip into the lounge, order something hearty, and settle into the buzz.

Swing by from late afternoon and let the night gather pace. Join the Exchange Bar and trade small talk for big smiles.
