Picture a rustic haven where the beauty of the great outdoors meets the cosiness of homestyle cooking. This is where Kinloch Wilderness Retreat stands out, a tranquil retreat that encourages you to enjoy the simple pleasures of hearty meals and breathtaking views. The lodge's dining room, glowing with natural light, is a cosy space with wooden beams and panoramic windows showcasing the lush New Zealand landscape.

The lunch menu celebrates local flavours and heartwarming dishes. The chicken burger isn’t just any burger, the sumptuous, organic Bostocks fried chicken towers with aioli, crisp bacon, and fresh produce on a garlic-toasted bun paired with a generous side of fries. For beef lovers, the homemade beef patty burger with melty cheese and tangy gherkins fills more than just your hunger—it’s a tribute to the classic Kiwi burger done just right. Vegetarians and health-conscious guests will enjoy the vegan Buddha bowl, a colourful blend of seasonal vegetables and grains, or our vegan nachos, a healthy hearty meal. Daily specials are also available alongside the usual lunch menu.

Dinner is a trust the chef menu, with all dietary requirements accommodated if known in advance, please inform us on your booking or email us at reservations@kinlochlodge.co.nz with anything we need to know.
