Real Italian food made by real Italians!

Giovi is a restaurant dedicated to bringing authentic flavours to Queenstown. As a place where nothing is rushed and traditional cooking methods are honoured to create unforgettable mouthfuls, waste no time in paying Giovi and Giovanna a visit.

Giovanna? She is the brains and the taste buds behind this marvellous creation - the go-to lady for all things Italian and tasty. Her remarkable vision has propelled this eatery firmly into the Kiwi consciousness. A fully stocked Italian deli and plenty of comfy, informal seating make Giovi an all-encompassing slice of Mediterranean bliss.

And that is just the beginning. With classic Italian focaccia, bruschetta pomodoro and the freshest burrata, these starters mark the start of a culinary odyssey. Pair these with a staff-recommended beverage and feel whisked away to a hilly vineyard in beautiful Tuscany.

Continue with lovingly made pasta dishes, all of which cater to seafood, meat and veggie enthusiasts, comfort eaters and those who enjoy the simple things. Pizza lovers are also invited to indulge in the classic iterations of the world’s favourite cheat-day eat. And seeing as that road has been taken, the meal may as well be finished with aplomb. Rich Italian chocolate cake, tiramisu classico and daily home-baked cakes should fit the bill perfectly.
