Shiraz Haveli Indian Restaurant Whangarei, is a Northland institution, first opening its doors in 1996.

At its heart is owner-chef Jaswant Singh Minhas, originally from Punjab, who began at Shiraz while studying business management after arriving in New Zealand. By 1998 he had taken the reins and, over the years, helped the brand grow across Dargaville, Kamo and Whangarei, all the while championing an authentic taste of India and the culture that inspires it.
