The atmosphere at Conversations in Hastings is a conversation starter in its own right.

Bright décor welcomes guests with a burst of energy, setting the mood for a café that hums with style. Chalkboard specials spark curiosity while lively chatter buzzes through the air.

Local flavour takes centre stage on the menu, which never ceases to surprise. Drinks are mixed and poured in full view, stirring anticipation with every swirl. The day starts strong with balsamic Parmesan focaccia, stacked high with roasted chicken, feta, spinach and juicy cherry tomatoes.

The lunch line-up delivers both comfort and flair. A grass-fed beef truffle burger proves irresistible, while battered fish and chips stay true to Kiwi tradition. Tiger prawn tagliatelle puttanesca is the new contender, already winning fans across town.

Visits to Conversations leave guests feeling refreshed, nourished and up to date with the latest happenings across Hawke’s Bay.
