Attentive service and delicious food, I like the fact that staff didn't try to remove empty plates till we had all finished our meal well done,
All this made an enjoyable evening experience out with friends thank you.

We had a lovely time on a hot day, choice of indoor or outdoor tables. We choose a lovely bay window overlooking garden and the roses, in a well-kept grounds. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, respectful time for perusing menu, drinks and water bought quickly, while we were choosing. Meal was hot, tender and delicious. I had lamb shank and it just fell off the bone, partner had beef schnitzel and it was very easy to slice through, flavoursome too (he's an ex butcher and that is high praise from him). Dessert was melt in the mouth Baileys cheesecake and lemon tart, berrie couli and icecream, we would recommend highly and definetly go back.

We had a great time at the Cranford Ale House for a work outing for the small team, the Ale House has a friendly atmosphere and is a Local pub with great pub grub and good service, everyone enjoyed their meal, in particular, the steaks were cooked very nicely and we had an enjoyable time.

I wish I had discovered Cranford Ale House sooner - everything was great: service, atmosphere and food. My guests from out of town said if only they had somewhere like it where they live. Feels like I just found out about a little local secret, thanks to First Table ☺

A memorable evening. This venue exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were attentive, extremely obliging with our kids and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The venue was fairly busy with Friday night Happy Hour on at the time, however the dining area was spacious but cosy. The food was the best we have experienced at a Pub/Tavern and the menu prices very reasonable. The homemade Filo's as a starter are not to be missed -they are absolutely delicious. The menu is fairly standard, and also came with a daily specials selection, however the food is beautifully presented and everybody had empty plates - despite the generous sizes. The kids menu includes a drink and an ice-cream and these were very well received. I would definitely consider this location for a large group booking also - as there was ample space including a large outdoor garden area.

A fabulous meal. The staff were courteous and efficient. We were very impressed with the extent of the menu along with an excellent array of 'specials' to choose from.
The servings were generous (a little too much dressing on side salad and too much sauce on steak dish) with tasty well prepared seasonal vegetables. The calamari was outstanding, as was the lamb shank. One of the best creme brulees I have ever had.

Will definitely be making Cranford Ale House our local!

Dined at the Cranford Ale House last night, and will definitely be dining there again.
The atmosphere and vibe was quite electric, it was so busy. My partner loved the fact that there where multiple large TV's everywhere screening the sports.
Service from the very busy waitress was excellent, she was so busy but still looked after the many diners with a lovely smile. And finally the food .....omg absolutely delicious, my partners 300g steak was amazing as was my calamari and yummy desert.
Great dining experience will definitely be going to the Cranford Ale House again.

Four of us had an enjoyable meal, 3 had a well cooked lamb shank and one a slightly overcooked piece of salmon. Two had good value deserts. The service was prompt and friendly. Paying for a first table meal took some time until someone familiar with the till could be found. The good bits far outweighed minor not so good and we will certainly return.

I went with my children for dinner, and the restaurant was very accommodating of our little dog. We sat outside in the courtyard. Although it was very busy, all the staff were very attentive and checked that everything was to our liking. We'd definitely go there again.

Very helpful, efficient, friendly staff, placed us at what we think was the best table in the house.
The prawn twisters we shared for a starter were a revelation, piping hot and delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, as was my salmon.
We'll be back - a promise not a threat!
