Fresh and delicious café food in a summery, stylish setting. How's that for an ideal lunch situ?

Welcome to InSitu, the neighbourhood eatery in Hillsborough that's got everyone talking. Their bakery is the star of the show, enticing diners in with the scent of freshly baked bread, cakes and sausage rolls. It does the trick every time, and diners couldn't be happier to welcome the afternoon in their open-plan, breezy café. Effortlessly communal with a minimalist approach to aesthetics, this uncluttered, soothing space is the perfect spot to unwind before heading back into your day.

The theme of the day is brunch! Everyone's favourite meal, InSitu is spoiling diners with classics that hit all the comforting spots, as well as nourish and sustain. For something straight out of the brunch playbook, it has to be the brunch stack that is towering with potatoes, roasted tomatoes, free-range eggs and hollandaise. Another Kiwi classic that's standing loud and proud is the mince on toast, topped with an egg your way. Apart from that, you can always guarantee 100% deliciousness with the French toast that's crowned with seasonal fruit, roasted nuts and Canadian maple syrup.

If it's a more lunchy vibe you're after, opt for a crispy chicken burger! Complete with streaky bacon, cheddar cheese, salad and halloumi, it's a feast within two pillowy brioche buns. Add on an artisan coffee or some cake for the road and your afternoon situation just got a million times better.
